Nava Thakuria

Nava Thakuria is an Assam-based journalist and a contributor to several media outlets across Asia. His focus area remains the sociopolitical developments taking place in northeast India as well as neighbouring Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet/China, Myanmar and Bangladesh. A graduate from Assam Engineering College (under Gauhati University) three decades back, Thakuria preferred to be a professional journalist and started mainstream journalism both in his native Assamese along with English language. He is a regular participant in television talk shows and public discourses.
