Video: Two Sri Lanka players badly injured after colliding at boundary

In an unfortunate setback for Sri Lanka, two of their players got injured as they collided with each other while sprinting to save a boundary in the ODI at Trivandrum today.

Both Ashen Bandara and Jeffrey Vandersay rammed into each other while trying to save Virat Kohli’s shot that was racing to the square leg boundary off the fifth ball of the 43rd over.

Sri Lanka players and the medical teams rushed to the spot and the two players had to be stretchered off the field.

Kohli smashed an unbeaten 166 as India scored a massive 390/5 in the third and final ODI vs Sri Lanka. Youngster Shubmam Gill slammed 116, his second ODI century.
