WATCH: Mirabai Chanu lifts 109 kg to win India’s first gold medal at CWG 2022

27-year-old Mirabai Chanu won India’s first gold medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in the women's 49 kg category final on Saturday with a final lift of 109 kg that put her way ahead of her rivals.</p>

This is the second time she has clinched the gold after having won at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.</p>
<p>
The Tokyo Olympics silver medallist appeared to be quite confident as the video clip  shows her making the final clean and jerk lift of 109 kg without a fuss. </p>
