Top speciality hospital in Srinagar destroyed in massive blaze

A massive fire has completely destroyed the Government Bone and Joint Hospital in Srinagar.</p>
<p>
Over 200 patients and their attendants were evacuated amid the raging fire which blazed through the biggest orthopaedic hospital in Kashmir on Friday evening.</p>
<p>
Heavy explosions of gas cylinders and medical equipment rent the air amidst the raging fire.</p>
<p>
The hospital has 250 beds and all wards were full of patients and attendants when fire started in the three-story building.</p>
<p>
The fire was first noticed at the Emergency Theatre and it quickly spread  across the entire hospital. The cause of the fire was not known immediately, officials said.</p>
<p>
"There is no loss of life. All patients have been evacuated safely," said Aijaz Asad, Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar.</p>
