Watch: 12 Cheetahs from South Africa land in Gwalior on board IAF plane

Indian Air Force’s C-17 Globemaster Cargo plane carrying the 12 South African cheetahs – seven males and five females – has landed at Gwalior Airport. The plane took off from O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg on February 17.

A video posted by DD India on Twitter shows crates lined inside the craft.

From Gwalior these big cats will be moved to Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park in an IAF MI-17 helicopter.

Another video shows the loading of the crates with the animals inside them on the transport aircraft at Johannesburg.
