Has Taliban killed resistance leader Amrullah Saleh’s brother after torture?

The Taliban may have  killed  Rohullah Saleh, apparently the elder brother of Afghanistan’s acting president and leader of National Resistance Force (NRF) Amrullah Saleh. Unconfirmed reports circulating in social media say that the Taliban reportedly killed Amrullah Saleh’s brother Rohullah Saleh in heavy clashes In Panjshir Valley.

Afghan News Network (ANN) also confirmed the news on Twitter.

“Rohullah Saleh, the militant elder brother of Amrullah Saleh, is reported to have been killed by security forces after he picked up arms against his country & people. The exact circumstances of his death are still uncertain, but it's most likely he died during clashes”.

Earlier it was reported that the elder Saleh as captured while he was on his way to Kabul from Panjshir and after being identified by the Taliban was shot dead. But now sources say that he was captured & tortured by the Taliban in Panjshir itself.

According to social media posts, fierce fighting  between the two sides is  still going on in different parts of Panjshir Valley. Last night there was a fierce fight between the Taliban and  National resistance Force (NRF), led by Ahmad Massoud and Amrullah Saleh. The Taliban supporters have put pictures on social media where Taliban terrorists were shown posing in the library of Amrullah Saleh’s house  in Panjshir valley where he had released a video message few days back challenging the Taliban and Pakistani state sponsored terrorism.

The various twitter handles supporting the resistance force claim that both Ahmad Massoud and Amrullah Saleh are in Panjshir and fighting against the Taliban.
