Watch: Forest officials capture cattle-killing leopard near Indore

Forest Department officials tranquillised and captured a leopard near Mhow in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district after it killed two buffalo calves  and six goats, creating a scare among the local villagers.

The video shows forest department officials tranquilising the leopard and then putting a net around it.  The leopard was then taken and released in the Ralamandal sanctuary in Indore district.

The 4 –year-old male leopard terrorised inhabitants of Buraliya village for about four hours before it was finally tranquilised and captured by the Forest Department officials.

The unconscious leopard was first brought to the Mhow Forest Department office in a cage and brought to consciousness with the help of medicine around 2.30 pm.
