Video: Rare Zebra without stripes sighted in national park

Screengrab from the video.

A rare albino zebra without the trade mark black and white stripes has been spotted  at Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The white foal is seen roaming around with other zebras in a field in a video shared by the park on Instagram and appears to be a major attraction.

While the foal has a few faint black and white stripes, his body is covered with white fur.

Most zebras are fully weaned between 7 and 11 months of age, but the mother continues to lactate for up to 16 months after giving birth.
