According to Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the students who were killed were identified as Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chouhan, and Pawan Kumar.

The police officials said they were all students in the Greater Toronto and Montreal areas.
An investigation into the crash is underway, officials added.
