In a freak incident, Sri Lanka all-rounder Chamika Karunaratne lost four teeth while taking a catch as he misjudged the ball which had been hit very high up in the air. The gutsy cricketer held on to the ball after it hit him on the mouth, to dismiss the batsman but blood started flowing from his mouth.

The 26-year-old took to Instagram and shared a selfie of himself, confirming that he lost 4 teeth and had to get 30 stitches because of the injury.
The rare injury took place during a Lanka Premier League game on Wednesday. During a match between Kandy Falcons and Galle Gladiators.
