Meet tunnel man Amai Mahalinga Naik who was conferred with Padma Shri, India’s 4th highest civilian award, for his indomitable work. He singlehandedly dug six tunnels continuously one after another to water his farmland. Mr. Naik failed to find water till the 5th tunnel but didn’t lose hope. Finally, in the sixth tunnel, he found water.
