NSA Ajit Doval is in the Maldives attending the 5th Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) with NSAs from 3 more countries- The Maldives, Sri Lanka & Mauritius. With Mauritius joining the CSC, the Minilateral now has 4 member countries. CSC's focus remains Maritime & security issues in the Indian Ocean, a region that's increasingly witnessing China’s footprints.
