Denmark, which has made an agreement with Pakistan for evacuation of people from Afghanistan, has reported two cases in as many days of deported men returning to the country in evacuation flights as refugees.  

In the first case, a 23-year-old convicted gang member managed to sneak in one of the evacuation flights and return to Denmark, a country where his entry has been banned. DR News, also known as the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, reported that the man is a former member from the banned gang Loyal To Familia (LTF) who had been deported due to convictions for crime.

Arriving without a passport, the man provided his brother's name to the police officers at the Copenhagen Airport who were responsible for registering the incoming Afghans. He was arrested immediately after the police verified photos and fingerprints.

"We've been through hell the last few days. He needs help," said the man's brother who too had travelled from Kabul. 

In another case, a previously convicted and deported man from Afghanistan was remanded to custody for violating a six-year entry ban after arriving in an evacuation plane from Afghanistan.

DR News said that the man pleaded in court that he had, at one point, worked for the Danish authorities in Afghanistan and thus his life was in danger after the Taliban takeover.

Pakistan capital Islamabad is currently Denmark's base of operations pertaining to the evacuation of Danes, Afghans and people of other nationalities out of Kabul.

However, the airbridge from Kabul via Islamabad to Denmark could be under scrutiny as the Denmark immigration service has tightened its verification process at the Copenhagen Airport.
