One policeman was killed and two injured when the Taliban attacked the centre of Farang district in Baghlan province and then stormed into the police headquarters, security sources said today.

Sources said that the Taliban set fire to three police ranger vehicles after entering the Farang district police headquarters and took away an armoured tank and all the ammunition and equipment at the centre, Tolo news reported.

A part of the district building caught fire as a result of a rocket hitting the building, sources confirmed.
