Meet Dhaneswar Engti Enriching Karbi Language In North East India

Dhaneswar Engti dedicated his entire life to the development of his mother tongue Karbi. He was born in a remote Baithalangso area of Assam. In 2022, he was awarded Padma Shri for his contribution to Karbi language. As per the language census 2011, there are only 5,28,503 people who speak in Karbi language. Watch the video to know more
