India’s Non-Basmati Rice Exports Jump Up By 288% In April 2021

India, which emerged as the largest global supplier of rice in 2020-21, has once again registered 288% increase in exports of the grain in April 2021. Several countries like neighbouring China and Bangladesh continue import Indian rice, which is about $80-100 cheaper than the grain exported by Thailand and Vietnam.
