Indian Railways’ New Fire-Retardant Coaches For Safety Of Railway Passengers

Indian Railways has developed new fire-retardant coaches to reduce the number of incidents of fire breaking out in railway coaches. The railways' coach manufacturing unit, Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala has developed five coaches using fire-retardant materials and roof-mounted air conditioning package units. With a reverse cycle feature for heating arrangements and automatic smoke detection, passengers' safety from fire accidents has increased manifold. Watch to know more!</p>
