Explained | India Bangladesh Pipeline Project

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina jointly inaugurated India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline through video conferencing on March 18. The pipeline which was made with a cost of Rs 377 cr, drawn from the Indian line of credit, will enhance energy security cooperation between both two countries. Earlier, Bangladesh used to purchase diesel oil at $11 per barrel from the international market now it will cost $5.5 per barrel in this pipeline project. Watch the video to know more
