Watch: ISRO small satellite launch vehicle succeeds in mission

ISRO today successfully launched SSLV D2

Indian Space Research Organisation’s second developmental flight of a Small Satellite Launch Vehicle was successfully launched today from Sriharikota. The SSLV-D2 placed three satellites — EOS-07, Janus-1 and AzaadiSAT-2 satellites into 450 km circular orbit, in its 15 minutes flight.

SSLV’s maiden flight on August 7 last year had failed to place satellites in their desired orbit.
