The science fiction blockbuster, The Matrix, was released in 1999. Two decades later, we can say that the movie was prescient: the entire world has indeed been transformed into a matrix. The only difference is that the simulated reality that passes off as our world has not been created by some malevolent computers which have development consciousness and which now want to control humankind; it is created by an anti-human clique—the public health establishment. Its modus operandi was scaremongering.
Central to the establishment is the World Health Organization, which has been taken over by the Chinese Communist Party. But there are other important functionaries as well. Like Neil Ferguson, director of the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College, London, who frightened everybody by saying that the novel coronavirus would five lakh Britons and 2.2 million Americans. He later retracted that report, bringing down the fatalities in the UK to 20,000, but the damage was done. Unwisely giving credence to Ferguson, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson imposed lockdown on March 23. Other countries, including India, followed suit.
The public health establishment—mafia is a better term, as we shall see—had many more influential members. There is Richard Horton, editor-in-chief of one of the oldest and most prestigious medical journal Lancet. Pulitzer Award-winning science journalist and activist Laurie Garrett is another one. The thread running through the entire mafia is pink: they are all Left-leaning, and often China-loving, activists.
Their hatred for US President Donald Trump is pathological. Horton, for instance, went to the extent of publishing a phony study discrediting hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) just because Trump had said that HCQ could help fight Covid-19.
This mafia got a great deal of support from the mainstream media, most of which is run by Left-liberals, because Trump had the gumption to blame (apart from CCP bosses) its Don Corleone, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Since they hate Trump, the WHO chief was defended, as also was the public health mafia. The mafia’s illiberal and mostly unscientific diktats were accepted by journalists and other opinion makers as Gospel truths. The Mafiosi were lauded. The Guardian, for example, went on the describe Tedros as “a calming presence in the midst of the crisis.” This for the man who helped spread the pandemic and who ought to be tried for crimes against humanity!
The mafia transmogrified planet earth into Matrix 2020—people fearing doom and, thus, meekly accepting the erosion of liberties. As it turned out, the fears were vastly overrated. The serological surveys in Delhi and Mumbai, for instance, showed that the fatality rate of Covid-19 is less than that of flu.
This is not to say that Covid-19 is not dangerous; it is, but not as dangerous as to warrant as extreme a response as it elicited. At the risk of sounding immodest, we can say that we foresaw the futility, indeed hazard, of the complete shutdown long before anybody else in India did (https://indianarrative.com/india/lockdown-must-go-life-must-go-on-692.html).
The world was shut down because the public health mafia was able to conjure up apocalypse—and convince people across the world that it was imminent. That is, imminent unless they accepted the liberty-eroding measures they recommended, most of which were accepted by political leaders.
Morpheus, an important character in the movie, described the Matrix as ubiquitous: “It is all around us… It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.”
It is time to open our eyes to the truth—the truth about public health mafia’s matrix, the truth about ‘the new normal’ that the Mafiosi want us to conform to. For the new normal is about the imposition of exhaustive lists of prescriptions and proscriptions.
