Watch: PM flags-off 2nd Vande Bharat for Telugu speaking Andhra and Telangana

Both the Telugu-speaking States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana celebrated as Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the second semi-high-speed train, Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat.

This 13th train in Vande Bharat series will run between India’s leading Information Technology city, Hyderabad and the abode of Lord Venkateswara, Tirupati. In January PM flagged off the Vande Bharat between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam.

A group of 67 school students got an opportunity to travel in the maiden run of this second Vande Bharat from Secunderabad. They were selected on the basis of essay and painting competitions.

As usual, the PM took time out to interact with the students.

One of the students also read out a poem she had penned about how India is progressing and becoming a self-reliant nation. The PM listened patiently and lauded her effort.

This 13th Vande Bharat will cover 660.77 kilometres in eight hours and 30 minutes. It will run on all days except Tuesday and it is likely to stop at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore.
