PM flags off work on mega solar and wind park in Kutch

<p style="font-weight: 400;">The Prime Minister on Tuesday laid the foundation stones for the <a href="https://indianarrative.com/india/pm-modi-to-flag-off-work-for-setting-up-worlds-largest-solar-and-wind-energy-park-in-kutch-gujarat-37870.html?abc=123" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park at Khavda in Kutch district</a> and desalination plant at Mandvi on the Gujarat coast. The project is expected to help eight lakh people get access to clean water.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The 30,000 MW hybrid renewable energy park being set up in Kutch will be the <a href="https://indianarrative.com/world/taiwan-daily-lauds-gujarats-green-energy-surge-35842.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">world’s largest with both windmills and solar panels</a> set up to generate power. The PM said that India had been ranked among the top three countries in clean energy investment. The country is showing the way to the rest of the world and leading the fight against climate change, he added.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Prime Minister slammed the opposition parties for misleading the farmers over the three new farm laws which have led to the ongoing protests at the borders of the national capital.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“People who are sitting in the Opposition and misleading farmers today were in the favour of these farm reforms during their government. They could not make a decision during their government. Today when the nation has taken a historical step then these people are misleading farmers,” the prime minister said.</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">He was addressing the people after laying the foundation stone for a desalination plant and a milk processing and packaging plant in Gujarat’s Kutch region.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“The country is asking why small farmers who produce grains and pulses should not get the freedom to sell crops. Agricultural reforms were in demand for years. Many farmers’ organizations have also demanded in advance that they should be given an option to sell foodgrains anywhere,” PM Modi said.</p>
