Nurse arrested for stealing Rs 2.4 crore cash & jewellery from actress Sonam Kapoor’s Delhi bungalow

A 31-year-old nurse working at actress Sonam Kapoor's bungalow in Delhi was arrested for allegedly stealing cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.4 crore, police said on Wednesday.</p>
<p>
Aparna Ruth Wilson was a caregiver for the actor's mother-in-law at the sprawling Amrita Shergill Marg house in the heart of the capital. Wilson's husband Naresh Kumar Sagar an accountant at a private firm in Shakarpur has also been arrested as an accomplice in the case.</p>
<p>
The theft took place on February 11 and a police case was registered on February 23 when it was reported at Tughlaq Road Police Station.</p>
<p>
The case was filed by the manager of Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja's house that employs over 20 staffers, police said.</p>
<p>
"The Delhi Police Crime Branch along with a team of the Special Staff Branch of the New Delhi district conducted a raid in Sarita Vihar on Tuesday night. They arrested Wilson and her husband, both 31 years old," a senior police officer said.</p>
<p>
Police said that further investigation is going on and most of the people working at the Amrita Shergill Marg house have been questioned.</p>
<p>
The Tughlaq Road police station had transferred the case to the Special Staff Branch of the New Delhi district for investigation.</p>
<p>
In March this year, Sonam Kapoor's father-in-law's export-import firm of had been cheated of Rs 27 crore by a group of cyber criminals in Faridabad. </p>
<p>
The culprits had misappropriated rebates of State and Central Taxes meant for Harish Ahuja's company Shahi Export Factory by forging his Digital Signature Certificate.</p>
