Anji Khad Bridge is India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir

India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge coming up in Jammu and Kashmir will be completed in December this year.

Anji Khad Bridge is located in Reasi district above the Anji river and will link Katra with Reasi.  The engineering marvel is a part of the challenging Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Railway Link through the Himalayas at high altitudes.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw took to social media to share the latest photos of the engineering marvel. "A future-ready Nation's first cable-stayed rail bridge, Anji Khad bridge connecting #Kashmir," he tweeted.
