Caught on camera: Pet dog stolen in Delhi, cops nab crooks within 24 hours

Delhi Police have won hearts by finding a pet dog that was stolen from a New Delhi’s Chittaranjan Park and bringing it back to the woman owner.

CCTV footage of the area shows a man dressed in black running after the dog. He then grabs the pet and puts it inside his bag.  The incident took place on February 17 in South Delhi.

After scanning close to 150 CCTV cameras, the police were able to track down the culprits who were arrested from Nawada. Pictures of the “super happy” reunion of the pet with its owner have gone viral on social media.

The lady thanked all the officials of Delhi police profusely for taking the effort to find the pet and living up to their assurance that the dog would be brought back to her within 24 hours.
