India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall at some places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands on 4th & 5th June.
The weather bulletin issued today also forecasts:
*Fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds very likely over Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and scattered rainfall across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh during the next 5 days.
*Moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds very likely over Western Himalayan Region during the next 5 days and over plains of northwest India on 4th and 5th June.
* Hailstorm with thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds likely over West Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and central Maharashtra on 4th June.
