IAS officer and wildlife enthusiast Supriya Sahu shared a video on Twitter from Tamil Nadu’s Mudumalai Tiger Reserve that shows several elephants waiting for their breakfast that is being prepared by the workers at the reserve. The food balls comprise ragi, jaggery, rice and salt carefully curated by the camp veterinarian.
The video then shows one of the jumbos opening its mouth wide open as one of the workers at the reserve approaches with the food ball and feeds it. The other elephants are also waiting along the fence waiting for their breakfast to arrive.
