A head constable of the Railway Protection Force saved a woman’s life by pulling her out in the nick of time as she got stuck in the gap between the platform and a moving train at Bhubaneswar

A head constable of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) saved a woman’s life by pulling her out in the nick of time as she got stuck in the gap between the platform and a moving train at the Bhubaneswar railway station on Wednesday.

The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera installed at the station and has been shared by the Railway officials on social media.

The video shows the woman getting off a passenger train along with another lady as the train is moving out of the railway station. However, she lost her balance and fell into the gap between the platform and the train.

RPF Head Constable, S Munda showed quick reflexes in reacting spontaneously to pull her out of the gap.

The video shows the two women and the head constable falling in a heap on the platform away from the moving train and out of harm’s way.
