In an amusing IPL match incident, Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner deliberately stood outside his crease to tease CSK fielders Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja to run him out. The incident took place on the third ball of the fifth over when Warner narrowly escaped being run out as Moeen Ali missed the stumps at the non-striker’s end.
Warner then cheekily stood out of the crease to tempt Ajinkya Rahane, who had the ball, to run him out. The CSK fielder tried his luck but could not hit the stumps although Warner had quickly got back to the crease.
After this Warner followed up his prank by stepping outside the crease again and challenging Jadeja, who threated to throw the ball at the wickets.
The Australia player then capped the fun by doing a sword celebration with the bat in the manner that Jadeja does and the players ended up having a good laugh!
