The 10-year-old girl from Manipur, Meiningsinliu Pamei, whose image with her sister in lap attending school went viral, is back in news as she has got admission in an Imphal boarding school.
This was shared by the Minister for Power, Forest, Environment and Climate Change, Manipur Government, Biswajeet Thongam on Twitter. He shared it with a post and a picture.

Viewers appreciated the Minister’s gesture and praised him.
Pamei’s picture showed her studying in a Tamenglong district primary school and the local media reported that the infant girl in Pamei's lap is two years old and her sibling.
With the image going viral, Thongam asked his officials to find out details of the family and bring them to Imphal. He had said he was proud of her efforts to get educated and will personally take care of her education till she graduates.
