The jeep driver who provoked a tiger at Uttarakhand’s Jim Corbett National Park and endangered the lives of tourists has been arrested after a video of the horrifying incident went viral.
Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Susanta Nanda informed that the driver of the jeep was arrested for provoking the tiger. He has been booked under Wildlife Protection Act.
The driver had disturbed the tiger by taking the jeep too close after which the big cat charged at the jeep.
Before the tiger charged, the tourists were scared and kept telling the driver to stay away but he scolded them and kept going ahead.
