IPL: Another big setback for Delhi Capitals as Seifert also tests Covid positive

<p>
<strong>After the sixth Covid positive case in the Delhi Capitals contingent, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday announced shifting of the team's match against Rajasthan Royals on April 22 from the MCA Stadium in Pune to the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.</strong></p>
<p>
The decision on the change of venue was made as a precautionary measure after Delhi Capitals registered the sixth Covid case with New Zealand wicketkeeper Tim Seifert returning positive in today's RT-PCR testing.<br />
<br />
Seifert is the second overseas player from the team to test positive for Covid-19 after Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh.  <br />
<br />
The other members of the Delhi Capitals contingent down with Covid include physiotherapist Patrick Farhat, massage therapist Chetan Kumar, team doctor Abhijit Salvi and social media content team member Akash Mane.<br />
<br />
BCCI said that the entire Delhi Capitals contingent underwent two rounds of Covid testing on Wednesday.<br />
<br />
Delhi's game against Punjab Kings scheduled for tonight at the CCI Brabourne Stadium will however go ahead as per the schedule.<br />
