In a horrifying road rage incident, a huge container truck hit a car in UP’s Meerut and dragged it for about 3 kilometres.
A video of the car being pushed sideways along the road by the truck has gone viral on social media. The hit-and-drag shocker reportedly took place after the four people in the car had an altercation with the truck driver who was reportedly drunk.
Fortunately, the four occupants of the car managed to jump out in the nick of time and got away with minor injuries.
According to local residents, the car was dragged for about 3 kilometres. They shouted to the truck driver, asking him to stop, but he ignored their pleas. It was only when a police team chased him down that the driver brought the heavy vehicle to a halt. He has been arrested and an FIR has been filed in the case.
