Caught on Camera: Man kills wife by pushing her in front of speeding train near Mumbai 

In a horrifying incident, a man killed his wife by pushing her in front of a speeding train at Vasai near Mumbai on Monday.


 

The brutal murder was captured on CCTV camera at 4 am on the Vasai railway station, a senior railway police official said.

The killer fled the scene with her two children after the incident.

The CCTV footage shows the woman sleeping on a bench at the platform and the man is seen waking her up. Minutes later, they are seen talking to each other. The man suddenly drags her towards the tracks and pushes her off the platform as a train was seen approaching.

The Awadh Express passes through the platform crushing the woman to death and the killer is seen fleeing the scene with her two children.

The victim and the accused have been at the station since Sunday afternoon. CCTV footage at other railway stations shows that after the gruesome act, the killer went to Dadar and from there to Kalyan, according to the railway police.

Police have launched a manhunt for the killer.
