The restaurant has been started on platform number 6 of Bhopal and has been named ‘Aahar’. The interior has been specially designed to enable people to enjoy the experience of a train journey and it has a seating capacity for 42 people.

The first of such restaurants was started by the Railways at Asansol railway station in West Bengal on February 26, 2020. With these eating outlets getting popular, other stations too have followed. In Maharashtra itself, there is a target to start 11 such coach restaurants.
