Video: Indonesia jolted by massive earthquake, shocks felt in Australia’s Darwin

Indonesia issued a Tsunami warning but lifted it after three hours after a 7.6 earthquake struck off its Tanimbar islands around 3 a.m. local time on Tuesday.

Videos of shaking houses and residents jolted awake by the strong earthquake have now gone viral on social media.

Australia’s Darwin, over 600 km from the Banda Sea area in Eastern Indonesia, too felt tremors for about four minutes.

Seismic stations across Japan also detected the waves from the Indonesia earthquake.
