One of the well-known rivers in the northeastern Indian state of Meghalaya is the Dawki River. It is well-known for its unusually transparent, emerald-green waters that are crystal clear. The river, which divides India and Bangladesh, flows through the Meghalayan area of East Jaintia Hills.
