Kashmiri youth eager to become Agniveers as recruitment rallies begin

An Agniveer recruitment rally for male candidates was held at Haiderbeig, Pattan in the Baramulla district of North Kashmir which saw the participation of candidates from 10 districts of the Union Territory and from two districts of Ladakh.


The Indian Army continues to organise Agniveer recruitment awareness programmes in various districts of Kashmir to prepare the youth of the region for the Agnipath recruitment rallies.


Youth from districts of Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Budgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora, and Kulgam and from Kargil and Leh displayed a lot of enthusiasm during the recruitment rally for the scheme.
