Young TV actress ends life, suicide note blames ex-boyfriend

TV actress Vaishali Takkar, 26, known for her roles in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, committed suicide at her home in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Sunday morning. She was 26.

Indore Assistant Commissioner of Police M Rahman has said that they recovered a suicide note which suggests that she was under stress and was being harassed by a former boyfriend, news agency ANI reported.

The young actress was staying in Indore with her father and brother. When Vaishali did not come out of her room this morning, her father went in to check and found that she was no more, police said.

The police have started investigating the case after recovering the suicide note. Her mobile phone has also been collected and statements of family members are being recorded.

Vaishali had recently played a role in ‘Rakshabandhan’ where she starred opposite Nishant Malkani of reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ fame.
