<strong>Delhi Police arrest Pakistani terrorist, prevent major terror attack</strong></p>

Delhi Police's special cell on Tuesday nabbed a Pakistan-based terrorist in the city, averting a major terror attack on Navratri in the capital. The terrorist, Mohammad Asraf alias Ali, was arrested from Laxmi Nagar's Ramesh Park area. He was living with a fake ID as an Indian national in Delhi's Shastri Nagar.</p>

China’s military on Monday said it had carried out beach landing and assault drills in the province directly across the sea from Taiwan. Democratically-ruled Taiwan, claimed by China as its own territory, has complained of stepped-up military and political pressure from Beijing to force it to accept Chinese rule.</p>
