Mumbai: Mumbai Police has strengthened the security outside actor Salman Khan’s house residence after he received another email threat from the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The email threat was received three days after Lawrence Bishnoi relayed an interview from jail to a news channel that he would “kill Salman Khan.”
The local police have filed another case against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Garg for allegedly sending threatening emails to actor Salman Khan’s office.
Salman is already being provided Y+ security by the Mumbai police as he had received a threat letter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang earlier.
Last year, Salman and his father Salim Khan received a death threat. Salim Khan’s security team found the letter outside their Mumbai home near the Bandra Bandstand, where he goes for his morning exercise.
After the threat letter, Salman had also sought the Mumbai Police’s clearance for buying a weapon for self-defence.
Delhi Police had also found during the course of its investigations into the activities of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang that its members had tried to befriend the staff of the actor’s farmhouse in Mumbai so that they could come to know when he visits the place.
