Caught on Camera: Tata Nexon EV car goes up in flames in Mumbai

Tata Motors said it has launched an investigation to find out why the car caught fire.</p>
<p>
“A detailed investigation is currently being conducted to ascertain the facts of the fire incident that is doing the rounds on social media. We will share a detailed response after our complete investigation,” Tata Motors said in a statement.</p>
<p>
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and there were no injuries caused in the incident.</p>
<p>
The company said this a first incident after more than 30,000 EVs have cumulatively covered over 1 million km across the country in nearly 4 years.</p>
