As many as 206 kidney stones were removed from a 56-year-old man in a Hyderabad hospital by doctors who performed a key-hole surgery on the patient.

He had been suffering from pain for the last six months and was taking medicines which only provided him temporary relief.

The debilitating ailment, however, continued to impact his daily routine, and he was not able to carry out his work properly.

Doctors at the Aware Gleneagles Global Hospital removed the stones from the kidneys of Veeramalla Ramalakshmaiah, a resident of Nalgonda.

The doctor said the patient was counselled and prepped for a keyhole surgery that lasted one hour, during which all stones were removed.
