Viral video: Courageous Kerala cop takes on machete-wielding goon with bare hands

A courageous Kerala police officer overpowered a goon who attacked him with a huge machete, and successfully disarmed him of the sharp-edged weapon after pinning him to the ground with his bare hands.</p>

CCTV footage of the incident posted by Swati Lakra, a Telangana IPS officer, shows the attacker pulling out a big machete and charging at the sub-inspector as soon as he gets off his jeep.</p>
<p>
However, the officer who appears to be well versed in hand-to-hand combat keeps his cool and wrestles the rogue to the ground and snatches the weapon while people run helter-skelter to save themselves. </p>
<p>
The incident is reported to have taken place at the Para Junction near Kayamkulam in Kerala while the officer was on surveillance duty.</p>
<p>
The attacker has been identified as Sugathan a native of Nooranad village in the area.</p>
