Ya Mustafa is played meticulously by the police band on several instruments such as tenor saxophone, euphonium, flat clarinet, oboe, tuba and flute.

The cover of the song, composed by famous Egyptian musician Mohamed Fawzi, was posted on the Mumbai police’s YouTube page on Monday and was also tweeted by the force’s Twitter handle.

Khaki Studio dates back to the pre-Independence era as it was started by the British as the Bombay Police Band in 1936.
