Popular Bengali actress Pallavi Dey found dead in Kolkata flat

Popular Bengali television actress Pallavi Dey was found dead at her flat in Garfa area of Kolkata on Sunday morning.</p>
<p>
Police said that after preliminary investigation, it seems the young actress, who was in her 20s,  died by suicide. However, her family suspects that she was murdered.</p>
<p>
Pallavi, who played the lead role in the TV ‘Mon Mane Na’series, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her house. She was rushed to Bangur hospital where she was declared brought dead by the doctors.</p>
<p>
Police have started an investigation into the matter and the body has been sent for post-mortem.</p>
<p>
Dey was reportedly in a live-in relationship with her boyfriend. He is being questioned at Garfa police station in connection with the case, officers said.</p>
