Caught on camera: Thieves use JCB earth excavator to uproot ATM machine in Maharashtra’s Sangli

<p>
The video shows thieves using a JCB earth excavator to dig out an ATM machine from its booth and carrying it away.</p>
<p>
The incident, which happened on Sunday at Sangli in Maharashtra, was captured on the CCTV camera installed in the ATM booth.</p>
<p>
According to the police, the ATM machine which was stolen on the intervening night of April 22-23 belongs to AXIS bank and contained Rs 27 lakh.</p>
<p>
The thieves had first stolen the JCB excavator from the premises of a petrol pump and then used it to steal the ATM.</p>
