When one is in the right, it is important that the response is conveyed promptly too. This was demonstrated by the Bengaluru Traffic Police when it replied to a traffic rule offender’s query immediately with evidence.

Bengaluru’s Felix Raj received a challan for not wearing the helmet. He decided to take up the issue with the cops and took to Twitter to share the image of the challan which gave the details of his scooter, number plate and place name. What was missing was his image riding the vehicle without the helmet.

In the tweet which he later deleted he wrote: “Hello @blrcitytraffic @BlrCityPolice there is no proper evidence of me not wearing helmet. Please provide proper image or remove the case. Same thing happened before but I paid fine just to clear. I can’t take fine once again.”

Without wasting any time, the cops responded by attaching his picture showing him riding the scooter without the helmet.

To this Raj replied: “Thank you for the Evidence. As a common public every one has the rights to ask this. I appreciate @blrcitytraffic for clarifying on this. I will pay the fine. Kudos to all the meme contents. #bangaloretraffic.”

This exchange of posts made many Twitter users comment in good humour.
