The city of Lahore in Pakistan witnessed something which can be best described as bizarre and amazing. Much to the amusement of commuters and two and four-wheeler drivers and passengers, two ostriches were spotted running along with the traffic recently on Lahore Canal Road, the city&rsquo;s highway.</p>

Much to the amusement of the people, the flightless birds kept pace with the traffic.</p>
<p>
However, the incident turned tragic when one of the birds died when a man was attempting to hold it down from the neck according to the Pakistani news channel ARY News report.</p>

Providing details, the Daily Pakistan said as several people started chasing the birds in order to capture them and prevent any accident on the road, one of them was caught. When too many people tried to hold the creature down, it led to its strangulation as its windpipe was constricted, choking it to death.</p>
<p>
The body of the bird was removed and an investigation was ordered to find out how the two birds had landed on the road. The report also added that the two had come from the outskirts of Lahore and somehow reached the Muslim Town.</p>
