Watch: Rare sight of stealthy leopard hunting down deer in the wild

A rare video showing a leopard stalking a deer with great stealth and then closing up to make the final dash to bring down its prey has gone viral on social media. The clip was shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Ramesh Pandey, with the caption, “Leopards are smart and stealthy…!”

The deer initially looks up now and then as though with some intuition that a predator could be around, but the crafty leopard does not give his game away. Once the deer fully settles to graze the leopard makes his kill.
